FAQ

My student already has a college counselor. Will I learn anything new in this session? Absolutely. These sessions offer a specialized focus on the ways that athletics and academics intersect at highly selective institutions - a nuance that many counselors don't regularly navigate. Our team brings deep expertise in both admissions and athletic recruitment, providing insights that complement the work that your student is already doing.

Who are these sessions for? These sessions are designed for parents of high school student-athletes who are navigating the college admissions process—particularly families interested in academically rigorous colleges and universities.

Do these sessions guarantee recruiting outcomes or college offers? No. These sessions are educational, not promotional. We do not promise outcomes or endorsements. Our goal is to provide clarity, context, and perspective so families can approach the process with confidence and realism.

What makes these sessions different from other recruiting talks? These sessions are led by experienced college counselors with direct admissions backgrounds and insight into collegiate athletics. The emphasis is on academic fit, student development, and long-term success—not shortcuts or hype.

Which session should I attend? Lunchtime Session Day 1 – Best for families seeking a clear, big-picture understanding of admissions and athletics. Lunchtime Session Day 2 – Ideal for parents of rising juniors who want a candid look at recruiting realities and more guidance tailored to 11th grade. Evening Exclusive – Designed for families aiming for highly selective colleges and universities.

Can I attend more than one session? Yes. Each session is designed to stand alone, but many families find value in attending more than one based on their needs.

Are these sessions about recruiting or college admissions? Both—but with admissions at the center. Athletics is discussed as one part of a student’s overall story. The focus is on how colleges evaluate applicants, how athletics is considered in context, and how families can make thoughtful, informed decisions.

Can my student attend with me? These sessions are designed for parents so we can speak candidly about the admissions landscape and family decision-making. Students are welcome to attend the lunchtime talks if they'd like, but the content will be geared towards parents.
